Today I heard this in a lecture on business strategy. The discussion was on the fact that firms are likely to do in future what they did in the past. Listen to this:
"All the women I've married have the same initials and have birthdays in the month of June. I'm not saying that it was a strategy I set out in my life but that is how life is". That's my lecturer very funny guy!
It's human nature to always settle for what you are comfortable in, hence we keep repeating what we have done before. I've always been slow at implementing what I want to do, and looking back it is very clear that defines me very well.
With the way things are going now I have to clinical in executing my plans.
