End of year staff party

We had our own small end of year staff dinner.
It was a simple affair - we all met at a Chinese Restaurant upstairs in a private room. It seems many look for opportunity just to get drunk.
I left at the end of the night tipsy after a few glasses of wine and understood why I see so many ladies drunk at train stations at this time of the year. How they make it home only God knows.
I was afraid I would be disappointed with the menu. See when I go to Chinese restuarants my choices are very limited when it comes to stew - Beef in Black Bean Sauce is my first, second and third choice. I do not touch any of this seafoods - yuk yuk yuk. So to be adventourous and go with the good times I had some see weed but couldn't touch the prawns maybe next time.

At the end of the night the damage was £25.... I think it was well spent but continues to put pressure on my December outflows.

Oh and this weekend is major for us sports fans Man U v Liverpool/Arsenal v Chelsea! What a cracker.
While on soccer I'm reading an article about some British managers complaining that they were overlooked in favour of Fabio Capello. I thought you had to be qualified first for you to be overlooked. It is no secret I wanted to be the Governor of CBK and let's not forget JP Garnier is moving on I really really thought at least I should have been given a shot. Honestly I do not see any British manager now that can lead the national team - sad but true, the pressure is just too much.
