I was at a supermarket getting something for breakfast yesterday morning when I saw the front page of The Independent with a picture of Sammy Gitau. I missed the evening news due to a staff party I had to attend but someone told me it was on the news here.
Now that is a story that does you proud as a Kenyan - Amazing how the public assumes that foreigners are here to be free loaders. He came all the way from the slums of Mathare. Google the name and you will see his story on youtube too
