One time I was changing flights at Schipol Airport in Amsterdam while my phone was on a someone called me assuming I was in England - thinking it was very important I answered and quickly hang up - when it became clear it was not important. Imagine my utter agony when I received my bill at the end of the month - Just don't answer the phone if you abroad!
Thank God the EC is feeling the pain that we are feeling about the roaming charges all these phone companies are charging us. They are ordering mobile phone companies to halve the charges by next year.
This will affect most of these companies major source of earnings - don't expect me to shed a tear!
My favorite company's share tumbled with the announcement to 119.5p (5p down)
In the meantime I'm not answering any phones while abroad (of course unless Alicia Keys is calling me!)
