Vodafone's exit strategy is a lesson on the limits of global branding - market factors and local quirks can trip up the hardest adventurers. I'm sure some professor somewhere is building a nice case study for his/her MBA Strategy class.
Closing at £129.00 a slight fall - diasappointing especially with the expected offloading of it's struggling Japanese venture.
The CEO is also on a high after getting the support of his chairman, albeit reluctantly. He should leave too!
